Another Border Guard To Be Jailed
Johnny Sutton and judge Kathleen Cardone are at it again. Why are we purposefully prosecuting the men who are doing their jobs, protecting our borders? World Net Daily has the story, noting all the similarities to the Ramos and Compean cases. The case bears similarities to the recent case involving two other Border Patrol agents – Jose Compean and Ignacio Ramos – sentenced to prison for shooting at a drug smuggler as he fled back into Mexico, leaving behind hundreds of pounds of drugs he'd brought into the U.S..
Sutton has been criticized for a number of his decisions in the Ramos-Compean case, including his choice to provide immunity to the drug smuggler and return him to the United States to help prosecute the law enforcement officers. And the judge, Kathleen Cardone, has been criticized for not allowing the jury to know that the incident involving the border agents was not the only drug-related incident involving the smuggler-turned-witness.
It seems that border guard Noe Aleman and his wife found a typo on some paperwork when they were adopting thier nieces from Mexico. Aleman immediately reported the typo when he noticed it, but was later arrested and convicted of harboring illegal aliens."Here is just a sampling," said Andy Ramirez, chairman of the
Friends of the Border Patrol , "of what Sutton’s prosecutors did to the Aleman family and how their civil rights were violated:
"First, Noe was charged with smuggling his own legally adopted nieces. Yet, the government has never opposed the adoption paperwork as finalized by the State of Texas, which remains valid today. This was the same type of false statement that Sutton did to Agents Compean and Ramos though they claim that Agents Compean and Ramos are the wrongdoers and filed false statements.
"Next, the government through agents from the Office of Inspector General and the FBI interrogated the Aleman daughters without counsel present and were trying to get the girls to admit they were being abused, which they vehemently denied. Is this not a violation of the civil rights of their daughters for being questioned without counsel present to protect their rights? When I think of what the government did to protect the non-existent rights of career drug smuggler Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila as compared to the civil rights of the Aleman girls, it makes any logical person sick knowing what happened to the Alemans, their daughters, and fellow Agents Compean and Ramos as well as their families.
"After no evidence of abuse was discovered from this hostile and illegal interrogation, in which the girls were traumatized psychologically; Noe and Isabel's daughters were, in retaliation for not lying to the government, placed in Removal Proceedings late June 2004.
"At the Immigration Hearing on June 20, 2005, the girls, through their counsel, applied for Admission to the U.S. based on the fact that they are legally adopted daughters of U.S. Citizen Parents. The Immigration Judge denied the Application and ordered them removed. The Alemans appealed the decision to the Board of Immigration Appeals ('BIA'), who upheld the original ruling. The Aleman daughters were subsequently deported though their legal and only family remains here in the U.S. The girls were deported and ordered ineligible to return to the U.S. for 10 years.
"The Aleman girls were denied all visitation, and communication to their parents by the Department of Justice throughout this process, though, again, the girls are their legally adopted daughters."Ramirez also said Sutton's assistants called the Aleman girls "little whores" during testimony before the grand jury.
Aleman appealed his case, but recently lost his appeal and has been ordered to report for his one-year prison term on Monday in El Paso, Ramirez said.
Interview with Ed Brown's Neighbor
The Union Leader reports a story of Ed Brown, who is in the middle of a standoff with local, state, and federal authorities over his unpaid taxes.
Brown, who maintains there is no law that requires average American citizens to pay a direct tax on their wages, spoke to a group of reporters from a second-floor window in his house after a veritable army of heavily armed police officers and federal agents left the area around his rural home without ever making contact with him.
As Brown spoke, half a dozen helicopters made wide circles overhead.
According to a World Net Daily article in January:
Ed Brown and his wife, Elaine, of Plainfield, N.H., were convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to disguise large financial transactions and structuring.
I talked with a neighbor of Ed & Elaine Brown today. He said they are both Dentists. He also said that there are armed National Guard troops all over, and that he has to go through police checkpoints just to get to his own home. The neighbor told me that there were people bringing the Browns food and deliveries, but that no one can get to the house now. He also confirmed that there were indeed helicopters all over the area. Here is a video taken at the Brown's house back in January. Here is a copy of a letter written by Ed Brown February 1, 2007:Something very important is going on here.
Sure it starts with my tax case but let's look at the big picture here.
I am providing a place for us to make a difference, for the people, for this country!
I even offered to pay the taxes just so they would leave me alone, but no,...
They took my guns (before ever being convicted of anything).
They took my wife and court ordered her away from me.
They now want much more money then they say I owe.
They want my house.
And will again offensively attack me and take my life as well as those around me here now
unless we have enough people to make a difference!
We may never have another chance!
I need people here Now!
Now is the time!

NATIONAL SUICIDE
"The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities." - Theodore Roosevelt

TIME TO STAND UP
Abraham Lincoln said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
We are destroying ourselves. We have become so complacent and engrossed in what Paris Hilton is doing, or who is getting kicked off American Idol, we don’t care about the monumental changes happening right under our noses. We complain that we have to vote for the lesser of two evils, or we don’t vote at all. Our apathy will destroy this country.
Our elected officials are abusing their power! We had the Boston Tea Party for lesser offenses than the ones being committed by our leaders right now. It is time to fight back. The Declaration of Independence tells us, it is not only our right, but our duty to fight back against the government when they abuse the powers we gave them. Billions of dollars are spent on wasteful projects every year by Congress. They spend all their time on partisan bickering and showboat non-binding resolutions that mean nothing. Congress is actually wasting time worrying about changing light bulbs1 and impeaching Dick Cheney, while not funding our troops.
Whether we agree on the war in Iraq or not, the soldiers are there NOW. Congress voted to send them. We cannot have leaders who are so busy politicking; they won't even send the troops needed funds in the middle of a war.
Illegal Immigrants will take trillions of dollars in federal funds (welfare, education, etc...) They will receive $21,000 more in funds than they pay in taxes each year. It is not fair to people waiting to come into the United States legally when illegal aliens sneak in and are given amnesty, free education, and welfare. It is not fair to us (the people going to work daily to pay the taxes2) that our money is being used to support even one person who broke the law to get here.
New Haven, Connecticut is a sanctuary city. Mayor John DeStefano is about to slap the rest of the U.S. in the face by giving illegal immigrants free ID cards so they can open bank accounts and register cars. In a recent poll in the New York Times, 69% of Americans want illegal aliens deported. Searching out and deporting 12-20 million illegal immigrants is not feasible. But when we come across them, especially those who commit crimes, we cannot turn our backs and look the other way. I have seen massive illegal immigrant protests with hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens waving Mexican flags and yelling about their rights. YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS!!! YOU BROKE THE LAW TO GET HERE!!! Can someone please explain to me, where else can you break in and then demand you have rights? Ted Kennedy (D. Mass) says it is time for illegal aliens to come out of the shadows. Mr. Kennedy, I don’t know what hole you have your head in, but they are out of the shadows. Just look in front of Home Depot in the morning.
The United States is a nation of laws. Certain groups should not be given preferential treatment and be allowed to blatantly break laws. We need to let our elected officials know we will not tolerate this disregard for our laws or our sovereignty. Countries have borders for a reason. Almost every terror attack that has been thwarted since 9/11 involves terrorists who entered or stayed in this country illegally. Bush likes to talk about Mexicans doing the jobs Americans won’t do. It is time for us to do the job our elected leaders won’t do! Seal the borders! Get rid of leaders who tax us to death (literally) just so they can spend our earnings for special interests. Anyone managing a business can do a better job than congress does with spending and the budget. If a publicly owned company had accounting practices like the government does, the company would be investigated and shut down faster than you can say Enron.
1. The new light bulbs being touted by environmentalists and congress as earth friendly contain mercury. There are more warnings on the new bulbs than there would be on a pack of cigarettes soaked in gasoline. One woman had to pay thousands of dollars for an EPA cleanup after she broke one of the bulbs in her daughter’s bedroom.
2. About 50% of all the money you earn is taken by the government for taxes, and when you die the government will take 50% of what you have left for what is called Death Tax.
